We aim to
provide Music4all by opening up the possibilities for all learners
who wish quality lessons outside the normal school hours.
As an agency, we choose teachers
who have the best qualifications/ suitablity for the lessons
concerned from our database. We
will try to provide teachers close to where you live where
possible, subject to availability.
We pay
teachers as close to their usual rate as possible, but also try to
negotiate a discount for students. The agency fee is kept to a
minimum and is often just equivalent to the amount discounted by
teachers.
We can organise CRB checks for
teachers who take on younger students. With
new teachers, this can take about 6 weeks and parents would be
informed if this is not complete and either wait until it is
complete or continue whilst this is in progress.
You will pay for
the first two hours in advance by cheque to "Music4All". We then
provide you with the contact details of your teachers and you will
organise the lessons at a mutually convenient time and place. The
lessons may be spread over a timescale to suit you and the teacher.
When you
have had the two hours lessons, you send a cheque for the next two.
Any lessons not received will be refunded in full on discontinuing.
We aim to teach at all
levels, all styles and on all instruments where possible.
Students have an extra
point of contact to music4all and can email at any time should
problems arise.
If
you need to discuss any needs that
arise you can email for advice. If you are a complete beginner, advice can be given on a
suitable instrument before starting lessons.
To reduce the cost of purchase
of instruments and music we have a discount card which will give 10%
off for our students at a number of quality music shops.
We
aim to run courses and workshops to provide opportunities for
students to perform the skills and pieces they have learned during
the year in a relaxed and encouraging environment.
